Fees & Payments
Payment for service is due at the beginning of each session. Fees may change over time, but you will be informed of any potential rate increases in advance.
Insurance
Before our scheduled session, contact your insurance provider to confirm deductibles, co-pays, or co-insurance. If we are not network providers for your insurance company, you should contact them directly to obtain information regarding your out-of-network mental health benefits. We will require prepayment from you if you have an out-of-network insurance carrier (except Tricare) but will provide a courtesy claim you can file for possible reimbursement from them.
When you call your insurance company, check at least the following:
1. Whether or not your policy covers mental health.
2. Your remaining deductible. (There may be a separate mental health deductible.)
3. Co-payment, if any.
We are network providers for the following insurances:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Cigna
- ComPsych
- First Choice Health
- Medicare
- Optum/United Health Care
- TriCare out of network provider
- New Directions
- Lincoln EAP
- SAS (depending upon employer)
Networks and insurance companies are being added frequently, so call us about yours!
We accept the following forms of payment:
- Cash
- Checks
- Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express)
Cancellations
There is no charge for appointments, canceled or rescheduled, more than 24 hours in advance. With shorter notice, you agree to pay for the time you reserved. The fee for cancellations within less than 24 hours or no-shows is $100.00. Emergencies are handled on a case-by-case basis and should be discussed with your therapist at your earliest convenience.
If you are going to be late for your session, please call to let us know. After 20 minutes past your session start time, if we have not heard from you, we will assume you are not attending and cannot guarantee we will be available when you arrive.
Please Note: Two no-shows/cancellations without at least 24 hours notice will result in the scheduled recurring appointment time being released to other clients.
